Wiluna Drive Trail

Mike Maher of Transplan Pty Ltd is working with Jesse Brampton (Kulbardi Hill Consulting) to determine the best route and interpretive sites on a new drive trail proposed in the Shire of Wiluna. The drive trail will be centred on the town of Wiluna and will encompass a section of the Canning Stock Route, the Gunbarrel Highway and other local roads.

Exmouth – interpretation plan

Transplan Pty Ltd has been appointed by the Shire of Exmouth to examine the potential for a World War 11 heritage (drive) trail in the Exmouth Gulf area. The study also focusses on Vlamingh Head and the need for interpretation at the Vlamingh Head Precinct as well as elsewhere in the Shire to provide information to visitors.

Railway Reserve Heritage Trail – connection to Lake Leschenaultia

Transplan Pty Ltd has been appointed by the Shire of Mundaring to prepare a trail development plan for a mountain biking and walk trail connection between the Railway Reserve Heritage Trail at Chidlow and Lake Leschenaultia.

Cocos (Keeling) Islands Trails Master Plan

Transplan Pty Ltd has been appointed by the Shire of Cocos (Keeling) islands to prepare a Trails Master Plan for the islands. The study will happen in two stages. Stage 1 is the preparation of an overall Trails Master Plan, assessing all existing trails and examining the potential for new trails. High priority trails will be identified. Stage 2 involves the preparation of a detailed Trail Development Plan (or ‘action plan’) for the three highest priority trails identified during the trails master planning process. These detailed trail development plans will identify all works involved in constructing the trails and the costs associated with their construction.
