White Rock Spring Mountain Conservation Area Trail Plan

Transplan Pty Ltd has once again joined forces with Mike Halliburton Associates to prepare the Recreation Trails Network Plan for the White Rock Spring Mountain Conservation Area in the Ipswich City Council in Queensland.

The project involves auditing all existing formal (authorised) and unauthorised trails as well as proposing a series of potential new trails throughout this 2,500ha estate.

Shire of Beverley Trails Master Plan approved by Council

The Council of the Shire of Beverley at its meeting held on April 29th voted to formally adopt the Trails Master Plan. The Plan sets out a series of actions (predominantly new trails) for implementation over the next 5 – 10 years.

Shire of Beverley Trails Master Plan – Draft Submitted to Council

The draft of the Shire of Beverley Trails Master Plan has been submitted to Council for its consideration. It is expected that the draft will be available for community review during late March and into April. The Council will consider whether to formally adopt the plan at its April 29 meeting.

The draft includes a number of projects including the upgrading of the existing Bushland Reserve Trail at Avondale Discovery Farm, the development of two in-town heritage walk trails, the development of a Beverley Pioneers Trail at County Peak and the establishment of two GeoTrails throughout the municipality.
