Prior to attending the recent International Trails Symposium in Portland, OR, Transplan directors undertook inspections of several rail trails. These included:
- Willapa Hills Rail Trail (in Washington state)
- Row River Rail Trail (in Oregon)
- Banks Vernonia Rail Trail (in Oregon)
