Transplan's Trail Log

The Shire of Capel Trails Master Plan, prepared by Transplan Pty Ltd, was recently adopted by the Council of the Shire of Capel.

Transplan Pty Ltd has now submitted the draft of the Shire of West Arthur Trails Master Plan to the Council. A community review period will occur shortly. The draft proposes an extension of the Collie Darkan Rail Trail to the Shire’s northern boundary (with Shire of Williams) – the Darkan Williams Rail Trail; walk trails within the spectacular Hillman Nature Reserve; and a feasibility study to determine the merits of constructing a multi-purpose trail (ie. a rail trail) on the disused railway between Bowelling and Wagin. The Trails Master Plan also proposes two mini drive trails within the Shire of West Arthur to take visitors to the areas attractions.

Transplan Pty Ltd is working with Mike Halliburton Associates to prepare a trail feasibility study for a proposed rail trail between Caboolture and Wamuran in South East Queensland.

Transplan Pty Ltd has been appointed to work with Mike Halliburton Associates and GHD to prepare a trail plan for the Beaudesert to Bethania disused railway in Logan City in Queensland.
